Wrap up from last week; Take time to memorize and share one Psalm from “The Songs of the Ascent” (Psalms 120-134).

This week, we will look at the Psalms that connect care for creation to worship to God.  Psalms 24:1 says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;  Paul would use this passage to help the early Christians understand how to live in a pagan world (1 Cor. 10:26).

With such a high view of God, David saw that everything he did, from ruling a nation to dealing with the poor or oppressed, was a way to reflect worship and praise to God.  Paul teaches the Church in Colosse that they should work to honor God, not man.  How we live reveals what we believe about God.
