Community Service

A vital part of imitating Christ is to reach out and serve others

Our Mission: To glorify God by obeying His will – Loving and encouraging one another — Serving others as is serving Christ — Proclaiming His Word — Offering authentic worship in all we do.

In our Community

Meals-on-Wheels — helping serve Senior Services deliver meals to older members of the community that are homebound.

Samaritan Soup Kitchen – once every month a team of 6-8 from South Fork prepares and serves food at the soup kitchen in downtown Winston-Salem. With other volunteers we serve from 100-350 people within a 3 hour period and help prepare meals for the following day.

Ronald McDonald House — provides meals twice a month to families staying “in House” while their children are treated at Brenner’s Children’s Hospital.

Piece Makers is a quilting group that provides quilts for several areas of service in our community.

Red Cross Carolinas — we host an annual blood drive every April.

Carolina Bible Camp offers seven weeks of camp activities for ages 9–18 in Mocksville, NC. Our youth attend several of these weeks and our adults help teach and serve during the summer.

  1. Is this a work of the Lord’s church or is it just something extra that you do?
