September 16

We are now one week away from the Relationships Matter seminar with Jerry and Lynn Jones!! Sunday through Wednesday, Sept. 23-26, you and others will be blessed to be a part of a challenging, fun, inspiring, encouraging series of lessons from two individuals God is using in great ways to help and grow relationships.

Bible classes and the worship assembly will take place at the regular times on Sunday morning, and the afternoon/evening sessions on Sunday will begin at 3 PM.  Please note that the evening sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will begin at 6:30. There will be two sessions each of those nights and the sessions will wrap up at 8:30, giving our parents a little extra time to get our kids home and in bed a little earlier.

You can register online, fill out one of our registration forms, or call the church office. We especially need to know how many children will need child care for each session and how many will attend the dinner Sunday evening.

The web link to sign up online is http://southforkcofc-eac2.eventbrite.com/. There is also a link to this online sign-up on our South Fork Church of Christ web site and Facebook page.

Who have you invited to attend with you? This is an opportunity not just for difficult relationships to get help but more specifically it is designed for good relationships to get even stronger! We have flyers and registration forms available if you would like to share those with someone.

And remember, we need help in different aspects of this seminar. If you can help in areas such as Registration, Greeters, Welcome Packets, Snacks, Child Care, etc., please contact me and volunteer.

Here are a couple more interesting “one-liners” from Jerry and Lynn:

“There are a lot of people you can love that you have no business marrying.”
“You are not your spouse’s personal Holy Spirit.”
