Imagine that we could have a mission church right here in this area that reaches out in the community, helps disciple new converts, provides counseling for those that are struggling, and has been growing numerically and spiritually. Would you be willing to sacrifice so that could be possible?

Imagine that we could go into the public schools in this area, teach a Bible lesson, and help at-risk young people by sharing the Word and will of God with them. Would you be willing to sacrifice so that could be possible?

Imagine that we could go into a foreign country, into their own public schools, and provide Bibles for thousands of students. Now imagine that we could do that in two different countries. Would you be willing to sacrifice so that could be possible?

Imagine that we could give Bibles to hundreds of children, some of which come from families that have never owned their own copy of God’s Word. Imagine that a group of people could live out the Bible values right in front of these children for two weeks, teaching them Bible principles and Bible stories. Now imagine that some of those people who do that are some of our very own South Fork members. Would you be willing to sacrifice so that could be possible?

Imagine that we could help train native preachers in countries all around the world, individuals that go to a school of preaching in their own nation so that they can teach the gospel in their native tongue to their native people in their native land. Would you be willing to sacrifice so that could be possible?

Imagine that someone would be willing to sell her own personal property, leave the United States, and go to another country with the purpose of bringing hope and healing, both physical and spiritual. Would you be willing to sacrifice so that could be possible?

The truth is, all of these things, and more, are possible. All of these things and more are being done to spread the gospel throughout the world. All are being done as part of the South Fork mission budget.

Now imagine that, because we were not willing to sacrifice, some of these great works of God had to be cut.

Every penny you give today, and every penny you pledge to give for missions between now and the end of this year, will go toward our mission work in 2011. Kind of makes that extra dinner out seem not quite so important, huh…
